Sumitomo Electric wins EU permission to buy VW unit

BRUSSELS, March 30 (Reuters) - Sumitomo Electric Industries Ltd. of Japan won permission from the European Commission on Thursday to buy the auto wire harness business of Volkswagen , the European Commission said.
