Sundram Fasteners qtr profits buoyed by exchange gains


MUMBAI, July 30 (Reuters) - Sundram Fasteners Ltd. on Monday posted a 42 percent growth in net profit in April-June quarter helped by foreign exchange gains but said rising cost of inputs was putting pressure on margins. Gains from the rupee's external value, at 113.9 million rupees, brought in narly half of the net profit of 255.5 million rupees, above analyst expectations.
