Jatco opens a plant in Thailand with annual capacity to build 500,000 units of its latest continuously variable transmission, the Jatco CVT7. The CVTs built at the $200 million plant by 740 employees will be installed in compact cars such as the March (also known as Micra) and Sylphy produced by Nissan Thailand.
