Suzuki: has not heard of reported tie-up with VW

TOKYO, June 25 (Reuters) - A spokesman for Suzuki Motor said he could not comment on a reported tie-up with Volkswagen in small cars because he had not heard of talks about any such deal. Volkswagen is examining cooperating with Japan's Suzuki Motor in the area of ultra-small cars, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Thursday, confirming a report in manager magazine.
