Sweden's Volvo to delist from German bourses

STOCKHOLM, June 23 (Reuters) - Global number two truckmaker Volvo will delist from the Frankfurt, Duesseldorf and Hamburg stock exchanges, it said on Wednesday.

The company listed on the three exchanges in 1974 as part of an effort to increase international ownership of its shares.

Volvo said the listings were no longer needed because of the deregulation of international capital markets and the increased foreign ownership of Stockholm-listed shares.
