Asked how students and JCI engineers will split time with the dyno, MaryAnn Wright says the workload for both groups will be seamless and integrated. JCI also will fund research to be done with the dyno, and students will be assigned projects and other work.

Once inside the i3, the eye is drawn to an odd assemblage of materials that makes one wonder if this particular model left the factory without all its parts. But the package works, and the materials, alone, deserve an award for sustainability.
