BANGKOK, Jan 16 (Reuters) - Car and truck sales in Thailand fell 7.5 percent to 631,251 last year, Toyota Motor Corp's Thai unit said on Wednesday.
Toyota, which compiles vehicle sales for the industry, said in a statement it was the second straight year that domestic car and truck sales shrank after a 3.0 percent fall to 682,161 in 2006.
It expected sales would rebound by 11 percent to around 700,000 this year. (Reporting by Vithoon Amorn; Editing by Michael Battye)
