ThyssenKrupp aims to extend CEO's term by 2 years

FRANKFURT, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Two key supervisory board committees at German industrial group ThyssenKrupp will propose to extend the contract of Chief Executive Ekkehard Schulz by a further two years.

In a statement on Friday, the steel and capital goods producer said the CEO's contract, set to expire in January 2007, would then be extended to the close of the firm's annual general meeting in January 2009.
