TOKYO, Feb 15 (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp said on Tuesday it had received about 7,500 orders for its new Lexus CT200h compact hybrid model in Japan in its first month, compared with a monthly target of 1,500 units.
The model went on sale on Jan. 12 in Japan.
Toyota's shares were up 1.7 percent at 3,935 yen in mid-afternoon trade, erasing earlier losses. (Reporting by Chang-Ran Kim; Editing by Edwina Gibbs)
