LONDON, Dec 18 (Reuters) - The university city of Cambridge extended Uber's operating licence for five years, Cambridge News reported on Monday, in a rare boost for the taxi app which is battling to keep its cars on the road in London.
The Silicon Valley firm's operating licence was due to expire on Dec. 20 in Cambridge, southern England. (Reporting by Costas Pitas, editing by James Davey)
