UK's Pendragon says Lookers bid offer lapses


LONDON, April 27 (Reuters) - British car dealer Pendragon said on Thursday its 259 million pound ($462 million) takeover bid for smaller rival Lookers had lapsed. The deadline for Lookers investors to decide whether to support Pendragon's all-cash offer expired at 1200 GMT Thursday.
