Union says new CN deal includes 3-pct wage increase

TORONTO, March 15 (Reuters) - The union representing 5,000 striking employees at Canadian National Railway Co. said on Monday a new contract offer tentatively offers a 3-percent wage increase in each year of a three-year agreement.

If ratified during a vote to be held this week, the settlement will end a strike which began Feb. 20. Other highlights of the agreement include a better pension formula, a back-to-work bonus, and improved shift pay.
