(Recasts, adds details) Sept 22 (Reuters) - Auto parts supplier BorgWarner Inc. on Friday said it would cut 13 percent of its North American workforce, or about 850 jobs, and lowered its 2006 earnings outlook citing significant customer volume decreases and higher commodity prices. Auburn Hills, Michigan-based BorgWarner said the production cuts at Ford Motor Co. , DaimlerChrysler AG , General Motors Corp. and other customers affected all of its North American operations.
