(Adds detail) MONTERREY, Mexico, Sept 30 (Reuters) - The Mexican unit of German-U.S. car maker DaimlerChrysler said on Thursday it would invest $210 million to upgrade production lines at its plant in the northern state of Coahuila. The unit, which exports around 80 percent of its cars to markets in 60 countries, said it would sink the funds into updating the chassis line at its plant in Saltillo, which rolls out Dodge Ram pickup trucks.
