(Adds background) TOKYO, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Honda Motor Co. , Japan's third-biggest car maker, said on Tuesday it is spending about 3.8 billion yen ($32.7 million) to build an auto parts plant in Thailand to keep pace with strong demand especially in Asia. Asia Parts Manufacturing Co. Ltd., a new Honda subsidiary located in Ayutthaya province, will have an annual output capacity of 550,000 auto body parts and start production in June 2007, the company said.
