(Adds details) KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 (Reuters) - Malaysia's Sime Darby , the world's largest listed palm oil company, posted a 3.5 percent rise in second-quarter operating profit on Wednesday, as palm oil prices hit record highs. Sime Darby said in its maiden results since merging with two other palm-oil firms last year, that operating profit in the October-December period rose to 1.16 billion ringgit compared with 1.12 billion in the year ago period.
