UPDATE 1-Russian Avtovaz, GM to make Opel Astra

MOSCOW, March 18 (Reuters) - Russia's biggest carmaker, Avtovaz , said on Tuesday it had agreed with U.S. giant General Motors Corp to produce Opel Astra cars at their joint venture plant.
