MONTREAL, Oct. 29 (Reuters) - Uni-Select Inc. said on Wednesday its third-quarter profit rose 12 percent as sales for the auto-parts distributor increased in the United States. Montreal-based Uni-Select said net profit was C$6.5 million ($5.0 million), or 36 Canadian cents a share, for the quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with C$5.86 million, or 31 Canadian cents a share, in the year-earlier period.
