(Updates with wage data, details) TOKYO, Aug 30 (Reuters) - Retail sales in Japan dropped slightly in July from a year earlier, falling short of economists' forecasts of a small rise as bad weather kept shoppers at home. Retail sales fell 0.2 percent, below a median forecast of economists for a rise of 0.3 percent, data from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry showed on Wednesday.
