U.S. platinum slumps early, gold inches up

NEW YORK, Nov 22 (Reuters) - Platinum futures slid more than 6 percent early Wednesday, driven by heavy selling related to talk of an exchange-traded fund and profit taking ahead of a U.S. holiday.
