US STOCKS-Markets extend gains, S&P and Nasdaq up 1 pct

NEW YORK, April 26 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks extended their gains and the S&P and Nasdaq rose 1 percent on Tuesday, helped by a round of solid earnings, including from Ford , 3M Co and United Parcel Service .
