Valeo raises stake in Japan's Ichikoh to 27.6 pct


PARIS, Aug 29 (Reuters) - French car components group Valeo said on Monday it had raised its stake in Japanese car lighting and rear mirrors firm Ichikoh to 27.6 percent, from the 20.7 percent it took in July 2000 as part of an alliance. Valeo said the increase marked a further step in strenghtening its position in Asia. The company was not immediately available to comment on the cost of the investment.
