The all-new flagship sedan replaces the XG350 at the top of Hyundai’s U.S. lineup. Compared with the model it replaces, Azera is slightly larger in all dimensions and the stronger, stiffer body structure improves ride, handling and crashworthiness. The redesigned 4-wheel independent suspension utilizes a double wishbone design in front and a multi-link design in the rear. Speed-sensitive power steering is standard. Two trim levels are offered: SE and Limited. Both are powered by an aluminum 3.8L V-6 with continuously variable valve timing that develops 263 hp and is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control. The list of standard equipment includes front and rear side-impact and side curtain airbags.
