What’s New for ’11

  • The Elantra sedan rolls into model year ’11 on an all-new platform. It is powered by a new 1.8L “Nu” I-4 engine with electronic throttle control, dual variable valve timing, variable intake manifold and aluminum block and head with cast iron cylinder liners. It is mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission (GLS only) or a new in-house 6-speed automatic (optional on GLS, standard on the Limited).
  • Fuel efficiency is increased by 18% over the outgoing model, returning 40 MPG (5.88 L/100km) highway with both transmissions.
  • New options include a navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity and segment-first heated rear seats (Limited only).
