What’s New for ’11

  • A convertible and an all-wheel-drive wagon join the E-Class lineup, along with a 50-state legal V-6 Turbodiesel E350 sedan, which is up to 30% more fuel-efficient than a comparable gasoline engine, according to Mercedes.
  • New optional safety equipment includes Lane Keeping Assist and Blind Spot Assist, both of which can apply the brakes to help steer the vehicle back into the intended lane and away from vehicles in the driver’s blind spots.
  • All models feature a new headlamp control, relocated stability system controls and standard light-emitting-diode daytime running lights for V-8 powered coupes and convertibles and Sport-trim sedans and wagons.
