Spark has light hatch, easy to operate with one hand, and decent cargo space, more tall and wide than deep.
The Spark comes in fun exterior colors with quirky names. Shown is Techno Pink, inspired by personal electronics' devices favored by young women in South Korea.
Like it's bigger B-segment Sonic sibling, Spark has motorcycle-inspired gauges, with Chevy's signature turquoise lighting.
Color extends to Spark's interior, which overall has good fit and finish, despite lots of hard plastic and piano black trim.
Spark's two upper grades, 1LT and 2LT, come standard with MyLink telematics' system. We found it user-friendly, although more hard buttons would help keep eyes on the road.
The new Chevy Spark, already sold overseas, is a fun minicar with lots of content for the money. Fun colors inside and out plus Chevy's new MyLink telematics' system with 7-in. touch screen are highlights.
