What’s New for ’11
The exterior is refreshed with a new hood, grille with new winged Chrysler logo, front and rear fascias, projector fog lamps, new liftgate with body-color spoiler and curved glass and new light-emitting-diode tail lamps. A quicker-ratio steering gear, larger rear shocks, increased spring and damping rates and low-rolling-resistance tires improve ride and handling. The new, standard Stow ’n Place roof rack allows the roof bows to be stored in the roof rails when not in use, minimizing aerodynamic drag and wind noise. Inside, there is a new, one-piece instrument panel with soft-touch surfaces, redesigned instrument cluster with larger, easier to read gages, revised center stack, optional second-row quad seating and an available heated steering wheel, which is the first in its segment, according to Chrysler. The optional Stow & Go seats now retract into the floor in one motion. Revised rear door seals and expanded use of sound-deadening materials in the floor, pillars and rear fenders reduce wind and road noise in the cabin. The optional swivel seats have been discontinued.
- There is only one powertrain; the new 3.6L Pentastar V-6, which is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
