What’s New for ’12
The all-new coupe features a unique, passenger-side rear door for easier backseat entry. It is conventionally mounted and can be used independently of the front door.
It is powered all-new 1.6L direct-injection 4-cyl. with dual independent variable valve timing, driven by a roller-equipped timing chain.
The engine is coupled to either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. This marks’s first application of dual-clutch technology.
Some standard features include a 7-in. (177.8 mm) multi-function touch screen, Bluetooth connectivity, video game console connectivity with a 115-volt power outlet and the Blue Link telematics platform, a service and infotainment system with three different levels of service, including real-time traffic updates, turn-by-turn navigation and remote vehicle unlock and start, among others.
