Visteon opens $10 mln technical centre in India


MUMBAI, Sept 25 (Reuters) - Struggling U.S. auto parts maker Visteon Corp. on Monday opened a $10 million technical and software services centre in southern India, which will support its global operations. The centre, located in the city of Chennai, will employ about 1,000 professionals, the company said in a statement. It would provide business process outsourcing in areas like supplier management, finance operations and environmental engineering, it said.
