Visteon posts profit on higher non-Ford sales

DETROIT, July 22 (Reuters) - Automotive parts supplier Visteon Corp. on Thursday posted a second-quarter profit as sales to customers other than former parent Ford Motor Co. rose.

The Dearborn, Michigan-based company had net income of $31 million, or 24 cents per share, compared with a net loss of $167 million, or $1.33 a share, a year earlier.
