HANOVER, Germany, June 18 (Reuters) - Volkswagen aims to build 6 million vehicles annually in the coming years, an industry source told Reuters on Monday.
"That is certainly to be expected," a person familiar with the situation said.
Earlier VW works council boss Bernd Osterloh said VW soon wanted to manufacture 6.5 million cars per year. The company, which built 5.66 million units in 2006, declined comment.
