Volkswagen says to recall 33,000 Passat cars

FRANKFURT, June 23 (Reuters) - Volkswagen said on Wednesday it would recall 33,000 Passat cars in Europe due to a possible fault with the cars' rear shock absorbers.

Passat models manufactured between August and November last year could be affected, a spokesman said.
