Yazaki, DENSO to plead guilty in US antitrust case


WASHINGTON, Jan 30 (Reuters) - Yazaki Corp and DENSO Corp have agreed to plead guilty and pay collectively $548 million in criminal fines for schemes to fix prices and rig bids for selling automobile parts to American automakers, the U.S. Justice Department said on Monday.

Yazaki will pay $470 million and DENSO will pay $78 million. Additionally, four Yazaki executives will plead guilty and face prison time, the Justice Department said in a statement. (Reporting By Jeremy Pelofsky; Editing by Derek Caney)
