Malcolm Bricklin's Visionary Vehicles LLC, which will import cars from China's Chery Automobile Co. Ltd., is abandoning plans to offer models much below $20,000 in price in 2006.
Bricklin initially planned to import cars that would sell for as little as $10,000. He now says the distributor's lowest-priced car will be an Audi- and Lexus-fighter priced at about $19,000.
