Accomodating sliding doors and “pass through” to the third row of seating are the biggest hurdles. Meanwhile DaimlerChrysler Canada Inc. officials confirmed Pacifica production begins in the Windsor, Ont., minivan plant in January 2003 as an '04 model — later than planned due to problems moving a door line to install new tooling. Only 5% of Pacifica's parts are common to DC's current minivans.
