Dent Wizard has a new national director of finance and insurance whose job is to put a dent in sales of service plans offered at car dealerships.

Al Longo will focus on Ding Shield, Dent Wizard's prepaid dent and ding service plan offered in 36-, 48- or 60-month options with no customer deductible.

He assumes his new post this month, bringing experience and best practices as a district sales manager to Dent Wizard markets nationally. He also was operations and customer relations director for BMW of Towson (MD).

“Dent Wizard's finance product is in a high-growth mode right now and Al will be able to truly demonstrate the impact of the product to dealers, especially in the F&I area,” says Lindsey Bird, Dent Wizard's vice president-sales.

The firm supplies paintless dent-removal technology to the auto industry through on-site services at auto auctions, rental companies and dealerships. Dent Wizard is a subsidiary of Manheim Auctions.
