Brazil Vehicle Sales Down 12.2% in March

Brazil vehicle sales totaled 306,171 units for March 2011, down 12.2% vs. March 2010.

March 2011 vehicle sales increased 11.6% compared with February 2011 sales.

2011 sales through March totaled 825,206, up 1.2% over the same period in 2010.

Fiat Automoveis SA is the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 172,010, resulting in a 20.8% market share.
