France Vehicle Sales Down 17.3% in May

France vehicle sales totaled 201,754 units for May 2012, down 17.3% vs. May 2011.

May 2012 vehicle sales decreased 1.5% vs. April 2012 sales.

2012 sales through May totaled 1,030,497. This was down 15.7% over the same period in 2011.

PSA Peugeot Citroen was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 313,267, resulting in a 30.4% market share.
