India Vehicle Sales Up 19.1% in March

India vehicle sales totaled 385,253 units for March 2012, up 19.1% vs. March 2011.

March 2012 vehicles sales increased 10.3% compared with February 2012 sales.

2012 sales through March totaled 1,058,767. This was up 15.3% over the same period in 2011.

Maruti Suzuki was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 321,424, resulting in a 30.4 % market share.
