India Vehicle Sales Up 27.2% in October

India vehicle sales totaled 313,447 units for October 2012, up 27.2% vs. October 2011.

October 2012 vehicles sales increased 4.7% compared with September 2012 sales.

2012 sales through October totaled 3,034,307. This was up 11.1% over the same period in 2011.

Maruti Suzuki was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 890,644, resulting in a 29.4% market share.
