India vehicle sales totaled 282,277 units for September 2014, up 4.3% vs. September 2013.
September 2014 vehicles sales increased 6.6% compared with August 2014.
2014 sales through September totaled 2,405,100. This was down 3.5% over the same period in 2013.
Maruti Suzuki was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 856,926, resulting in a 35.6% market share.
