India Vehicle Sales Up 9.5% in April

India vehicle sales totaled 285,461 units for April 2012, up 9.5% vs. April 2011.

April 2012 vehicles sales decreased 25.9% compared with March 2012 sales.

2012 sales through April totaled 1,344,228. This was up 14.0% over the same period in 2011.

Maruti Suzuki was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 411,679, resulting in a 30.6% market share.
