Italy Vehicle Sales Down 17.1% in May

Italy vehicle sales totaled 158,872 units for May 2012, down 17.1% vs. May 2011.

May 2012 vehicle sales increased 12.0% compared with April 2012 sales.

2012 sales through May totaled 745,345, down 20.9% over the same period in 2011.

Fiat Automobile SpA is the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 219,969, resulting in a 29.5% market share.
