Italy Vehicle Sales Down 28.4% in March

Italy vehicle sales totaled 150,755 units for March 2012, down 28.4% vs. March 2011.

March 2012 vehicle sales increased 4.8% compared with February 2012 sales.

2012 sales through March totaled 444,604, down 22.4% over the same period in 2011.

Fiat Automobile SpA is the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 125,133, resulting in a 28.1% market share.
