Japan Vehicle Sales Down 5.5% in April

Japan vehicle sales totaled 345,226 units for April, down 5.5% vs. April 2013.

April 2014 sales decreased 55.9% compared with March 2014.

2014 sales through April totaled 2,189,883, up 15.7% over the same period in 2013.

Toyota was the leader in year-to-date vehicle sales, with total of 605,342, resulting in a 27.6% market share.
