Japan Vehicle Sales Down 6.9% in May

Japan vehicle sales totaled 367,648 units for May, down 6.9% vs. May 2012.

May 2013 sales increased 0.7% compared with April 2013.

2013 sales through May totaled 2,260,820, down 7.4% over the same period in 2012.

Toyota was the leader in year-to-date vehicle sales, with total of 670,499, resulting in a 29.7% market share.
