Japan Vehicle Sales Down 8.1% in February

Japan vehicle sales totaled 477,380 units for February, down 8.1% vs. February 2012.

February 2013 sales increased 24.5% compared with January 2013.

2013 sales through February totaled 860,881, down 8.0% over the same period in 2012.

Toyota was the leader in year-to-date vehicle sales, with total of 251,610, resulting in a 29.2% market share.
