The power, potential and appeal of the Internet dominated the 6th annual CEO/CFO forum held in conjunction with the NADA con-vention.

Auto Team America network of dealer accountants sponsored the forum for dealers and their financial officers.

They heard former auto industry analyst and author Mary Ann Keller paint a bright picture for Internet opportunities in her keynote address.

As newly appointed president of www.Priceline.com, based in Norwalk, CT, Ms. Keller says consumer and manufacturer pursuits of Internet sales and service initiatives leave no choice for dealers except to provide top-of-the-class access for conducting business on the Internet.

"Above all," she declares, "make sure you have staff responsive to Internet-driven customers. Success with the Internet will belong to those dealers who best harness its tremendous potential."
