South Korea Vehicle Sales Up 2.9% in May

South Korea vehicle sales totaled 133,055units for May 2012, up 2.9% vs. May 2011.

May 2012 vehicle sales increased 3.1% compared with April 2012 sales.

2012 sales through May totaled 622,741, down 4.6% over the same period in 2011.

Hyundai is the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 268,402, resulting in a 43.1% market share.
