U.K. Vehicle Sales Up 12.2% in June

U.K. vehicle sales totaled 242,416 units for June 2013, up 12.2% vs. June 2012.

June 2013 vehicle sales increased 18.4% compared with May 2013 sales.

2013 sales through June totaled 1,320,633. This was up 9.6% over the same period in 2012.

Ford was the leader in year-to-date sales with a total of 199,179, resulting in a 15.1% market share.
